3/04/20 Today and the 2nd of April I decided to go for a 5km and 6km walk/run. It was really challenging because it was hot and the gravel were quite slippery lol. I challenged myself to run to the highest hill on our farm which was 6km away which was tiring as heck! Listening to music made my running more easier because there were some songs that made me push myself even harder. In the end I made it to the top of the hill took some pics then walked it back all the way home haha. I'm quite glad I got out of the house and done something.. :) Hope everyone's safe during iso and STAY HOME! hahah
Poshy - what the hell are you doing up at 1 am? You need your beauty sleep (bwah ha ha ha). Jokes. Good to see your getting yourself ready for X-Country that may not even happen. Those hills are wonderful for building leg strength!! Keep that going. Back in the days....When I was a competitive sprinter, twice a week we had to do steep hill sprints as part of our training that made us cope with lactic acid but also goes some way to increasing strength. Nothing more than 60 metres in length though with limited rest between each hill. Can I suggest that if you have time to burn, search some HIIT exercises you can do at home but keep up the running. Doing a variety of different trainings will make you more of a legend athlete (one day). Or you can sit at home, eat heaps of pies, do too much social media and get obese. Its up to you. L8'ers
